Our Weekend At The Aquatic Show in Raleigh

Our Weekend at the Raleigh Aquatic Show

Errly Aquatics had the pleasure of attending the Raleigh Aquatic Show as a vendor, and what an experience it was! 🦐✨ From the moment the doors opened, hobbyists of all ages stopped by our booth to talk shrimp, share tank setups, and pick out new additions for their aquariums. It was inspiring to see so much excitement and passion for freshwater shrimp, snails, and aquascaping.

Meeting Fellow Aquatics Enthusiasts

One of the best parts of any show is getting to meet customers face-to-face. Many people who had only interacted with us online came by to say hello in person, and we also met plenty of new shrimp keepers ready to dive into the hobby. Hearing your stories, questions, and ideas reminded us why we love doing what we do.

Our Booth Highlights

We brought a wide variety of livestock and plants to the expo, here are some favorites that people loved seeing:

  • Neocaridina shrimp in vibrant colors like Blue Dreams and Orange Sunkist
  • Fancy Red Caridina shrimp in Neocaridina parameters for keepers looking for a beautiful Caridina to add to their Neo tanks.
  • Gold Mystery Snails, some of the best coloration we’ve raised
  • Live aquarium plants perfect for shrimp tanks and aquascapes

The excitement around our Orange Eye lines was especially amazing, these rare morphs continue to spark curiosity among both beginners and experienced keepers.

Questions We Heard Often

During the show we answered a lot of the same great questions, a few highlights:

  • What water parameters are best for Neocaridina? Stable temps and consistent, gentle filtration are the foundation.
  • How do I introduce shrimp to an established tank? Slow acclimation and quarantine tanks are the safest route. We even handed out our guide on how to handle neo acclimation.
  • Which plants work best with shrimp? Mosses, Anubias, Java fern, and carpeting plants provide grazing and hiding spots.

Looking Ahead

Events like the Raleigh Aquatic Show fuel our passion and deepen our connection to the community in ways that online sales alone can't. We're already planning for the next show and will bring even more livestock, plants, and knowledge to share.

If you weren’t able to make it to the show, don’t worry, you can still explore our current selection on the shop. Whether you’re a beginner setting up your first shrimp tank or a seasoned keeper hunting for a rare morph, Errly Aquatics has something for you.
